Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vine & Branch platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Vine & Branch is a cloud-based church management platform providing tools for member management, online giving, volunteer scheduling, communications, and related ministry functions. Features available to your account depend on the subscription plan selected.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@vineandbranch.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Vine & Branch offers paid subscription plans (Seed, Sprout, Grow, Flourish, Harvest). Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Annual plans are paid in advance. Prices are listed at vineandbranchapp.com/#pricing and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

All payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle. Failed payments enter a 7-day grace period before the account is restricted.

5. Free Trial

New accounts may receive a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, the account transitions to a paid plan or is deactivated. Trial accounts are subject to these Terms.

6. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, your account will be disabled and data will be retained for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted. You may export your data at any time before deletion.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are used in a manner harmful to other users or the platform.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) to individuals who have not consented.
• Store, transmit, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
• Use the Service for any purpose other than lawful church or ministry administration.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of all member data and content you upload. We process it only as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Giving and Financial Transactions

Online giving features are powered by Stripe. Vine and Branch Software LLC is not a financial institution and does not hold or transmit donor funds. All giving transactions are processed directly by Stripe subject to their terms. Transaction fees are as specified on your subscription plan page.

10. Intellectual Property

The Vine & Branch platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Vine and Branch Software LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vine and Branch Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account administrators by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tennessee.
